Kareen Yang

Kareen Mo Yang is the events manager at the Public Policy Institute of California. She leads the public events outreach program to support PPIC’s vision of informing civic life in our state. Before coming to PPIC, she was managing director of the project management and program support group at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and director of the foundation’s annual Summit on Improvement in Education. Prior to that, she served as a research and events manager at the National Writing Project. She holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, where she majored in psychology.
